My SOTD sample was disappointing, so for my Scent Of The Evening I'm Moving On to a big refreshing drink of soft green - Issey Miyake's A Scent.
I don't know why I love this one so much - it's so utterly inoffensive that I should disapprove. I've more than once said that art requires at least a strong risk of offense.
But it's, well, beautiful.
I can't put it any better than that, so I'll point to the reviews at Fragrance Bouquet and I Smell Therefore I Am and Sorcery Of Scent and Perfume Posse and Grain de Musc by people who can. (And people who don't so necessarily agree.)
Edited to add a review from Bois de Jasmin. And now one from Perfume Shrine. And nioi.
