But, no. I sprayed on plenty again today, and it's still no more than Perfectly Nice.
Review Roundup: Is here.

This blog is for rambling about, well, everything that interests me. Gardening. The Farm. Perfume. Fashion. Photography. Fried chicken. Books. Clutter. Hoarding. Sewing. Writing. Murder Mysteries. Bacon. TV. Movies. Restaurants. Cooking. Oh, and don't forget the cat pictures.
:) Glad to see I'm not the only one. I just don't find it in any way interesting.
ReplyDeleteTocade is okay, but I must be in the right mood. A bit sweet for my taste.
ReplyDeleteyikes, I have never ever sniffed this one!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to love it too. To me it's not much more interesting than Pink Sugar. It also has a particular soapy material I dislike. Glad I sampled before buying blind.
ReplyDeleteYo, Ines! Yeah, it's just... fine. Adequate. Simple and not all that pleasing.
ReplyDeleteJosephine! Yeah, I was in close to the right mood on my wearing before this one, and was more positive. This time, it was too synthetic and powdery. I suspect that it's going to die "association death" in the end - on those occasions when I expect to have a lousy day and don't want a negative association with a fragrance I like, Tocade is a candidate.
ReplyDeleteHey, Frida! It's worth one try, though I might not say that if it weren't also very inexpensive. :)
ReplyDeleteElisa! I bought blind. :) But reallyreally cheap and blind. It's interesting that you get soap - I get no soap but a lot of powder.
ReplyDeleteFunny Josephine finds it sweet... at times I find it almost unbearably smoky. I picked it up the other day, sniffed it, and made a face. You know that smell that the fireplace gets when you've had a fire recently and haven't yet cleaned out the ashes, and then it rains? Bitter-smoky-sour? THAT. Urgh.
ReplyDeleteBut then, as you know, I have Patchouli Issues.
Oh, that's interesting - I get hardly any smoke, and mostly sweet. But, eew, yeah, that particular brand of smoky sounds awful.
