May I jump to the defence of the bee and say that those look like perfectly normal proportions to me. Though he would be on the portly side for a wasp.
Hee hee. OK. He looked just a little extra round to me. But in a healthy and highly attractive way. Like maybe he plays Santa Claus for the little bees.
