SOTD: Fendi Theorema

I continue to pull out the fall scents. Today, sadly, Fendi Theorema didn't quite work. I got almost no orange, and the spices were too dusty-dry. I did get a note rather like fresh bread - an interesting oddity.

In fact, judging from my blog, this may not be a fall scent at all. I see that I loved it in December, January, July, and August, and was dubious in May. So I'm concluding that it needs temperature extremes in either direction.

Review Roundup: Is here.

  1. I love the rigour of your seasonal analysis - I have only the foggiest of notions of what I like - or have worn - at different times of year.

I think I don't really care for "gourmand orange" scents generally, and my mini of Theorama went to start a new life in Canada with lovethescents.

  2. Actually, I will qualify that comment - for foggy autumnal days I am rather partial to Angeliques Sous La Pluie (or "Dans Le Brouillard", as I would rename it).

  3. Hey, flittersniffer! Well, I didn't really see the patterns until I started the obsessive SOTD posts - now I can scan my perfume wearing patterns any crazy way I want. :)

Is that the Ellena cedar fragrance? If so, I tried it once, and, yes, I think it would be really nice for autumn.

  4. That's the fella - if you like plangent pencil shavings, you should give it a go.
