Short answer? Yes.
Oh, all right, I'll smell it on YOU in any social situation... I may not have mentioned it to you, but the last time I tested Cristalle, I noticed a very strong ashtray vibe that disturbed me. Citrus+ashtray? I'll demur, thanks.
Oh! Yes, yes, I remember you saying that. It's odd - I can't smell that note in it at all, but for some reason, I can also see how it would be in there. Does that make any sense?
Chuckling at both of you.
I think that maybe Muse has hit upon why I can love No. 19 and galbanum laden greenery...but Cristalle always makes me pull my head back. Could it be the citrus? To be clear, I am happy to find citrus in many a perfume...but the combo with galbanum ("ash tray")? Now I'm thinking...
Howdy, ScentScelf! Hmmm. I smell very little citrus in Cristalle; maybe that's why I like it? (It would be unfortunate if one of my great fragrance loves were based on something I can't smell. Then again, if I love it, I love it.)
