Today, I'm grumpy, cranky, and stressed, so I'm wearing one of my primary comfort scents, Art of Shaving Sandalwood.
There's something odd about this fragrance's comfort scent credentials, though. When I'm in a reasonable mood, I don't find this scent particularly relaxing. It's only when I'm stressed, head-exploding stressed, that it does that job. Then, it makes me think of polished wood and pleasantly rumpled white linen shirts ideal for napping.
So today it's perfect, though I don't actually get the nap. However, I'll also be consuming a vat of milk, to finish the relaxation job.
Review Roundup: Is here.

Mr Bonkers consumes a lot of milk in the evenings - usually with a chocolate digestive or two or half a packet. He only drinks skim milk, mind, as a concession to his cardiovascular health. : - )
ReplyDeleteI love sandalwood too - I have Taylors of London sandalwood shampoo and soap, though the ne plus ultra of sandalwood soaps is Roget & Gallet.
Miiiiilk. When I was a kid they had one-half-percent-fat milk, which had just enough fat to avoid the "grey water" effect of skim milk. I wish it still exited - I can never handle skim. (When I'm being good, I drink one percent.)
ReplyDeleteOoh. I think I saw Roget & Gallet somewhere just recently. Now I must remember where. I have two different bars of sandalwood soap that I'm finding unsatisfactory; I'd like to try the best.
