Blogging: Eh?

I'm getting older. And so are my eyes.

As I wander around the Internet, I more and more often find websites with little tiny print, so that I have to resize to be able to comfortably read the posts/articles/whatever.

My own blog has become one of those websites.

So I wanted to ask: Is it just me, or do others think that my blog could benefit from the post text being a little larger?

  3. Hm, I only read it on my iPhone where it's nicely optimized for mobile view. Looks good from here! :)

  4. I am getting older as well but I'm fine with your font at the regular 100% page size.

  5. Doesn't matter - readers control their viewing devices (phone, tablet, computer) and displays to suit their eyes. 12 pt. is standard, tho I prefer 14 for my aged eyes.

  6. I have simply taken to sitting in front of my laptop with the 1.5 reading glasses on.

I have prescription bifocals, but the up-close reading portion of the lenses is just at the wrong angle to read a screen, though it's fine for printed material. This is a relatively recent development... my eye doctor says it's definitely aging. (I'm 46.)

  7. Looks fine to me, and I have terrible eyesight, and only 30% normal tear production, apparently, due to abusive levels of pc usage. And despite all of that, your blog is pin sharp to me. (Though I am guilty of the white out of grey thing...)

  8. Hi - Lately, I'm skulking a great deal without much commenting, but appreciate you bringing this issue to light. Yes, a slightly bigger font would be wonderful. I mean, what's to be lost?

  9. Howdy, folks! Thanks for the feedback and apologies for my long nap before responding. I think I'll do some playing with the font size and see how it looks on various devices. I could also just play with its appearance in general. Hmmm.
